From the time Karen was a young girl and had the opportunity to make design choices for herself in her family's new home, she knew she had a gift for working with colors and textures. As a result she went on to pursue a career in Interior Design and graduated with her degree in 1991. Karen has amassed extensive experience in the years following working on homes in all design styles from traditional to modern and everything in between. Her experience includes Designer Show Homes, Residential, and Model Homes.

Design by the Project:
If you want to take on a larger project like a room make over or your entire home, an initial consult is the place to start.
In the allotted two hour consultation Karen will meet with you at your home. During that time your design needs will be discussed and any necessary measurements will be taken, colors selected, etc.
From the time spent at your home Karen will carefully review the details discussed and if necessary create a budget that will include everything you want to accomplish. All cost of items, shipping, taxes, and delivery, installation and designer fees will be included in this quote so there will be no surprises at the end of the project. You will also be provided with a PowerPoint to give a visual of design concepts.
Hourly Rates:
$75.00 per hour
There is a minimum of 2 hours required for the initial consultation.
Steiner Ranch Residents only require a one hour minimum as a courtesy to my neighbors. Hourly consults are great if you need help with furniture, art or accessory placement. Hourly consults also apply to color/paint consultations.
Paint Consultations:
A complete paint consultation for your space can be accomplished in two hours to create a color pallet for your home. You will be provided with a typed Paint Specification Sheet for your home as a guide for your paint selections.
